Playfully Perfect

PSD Bank Nürnberg Arena, Nuremberg – 27 November 2025

A playful Till Lindemann had fun with the audience and made the Nuremberg show an experience that had our guest contributor wizzardclown break out of the scoring scale.

Entrance:
Despite the cold weather, the queue was already quite long when I arrived at 17.15, probably because there was no Golden Circle today and people wanted to take their chance of getting to the front. There were two entrances, one for standing admission and one for seats.

If you wanted to buy some merchandise, you only needed to take a few steps to the right after passing the security checks. The stadium is usually used for ice hockey games mostly, which makes it a bit smaller than the prior location (Munich Olympic Hall). The walking distance from the ticket/safety checks to the general admission spots was extremely short – it only took about 20 seconds to get there. Entrance, merch, standing spots – everything was extremely close to one another. No stairs needed to be climbed, as well as no long runs were needed.

Place/seat and view:
Even though I stepped into the stadium only 7 minutes after doors were opened, the first five or six rows were already full. After being on Danny Lohner‘s side for the last concert, I went to the middle today. For Aesthetic Perfection, the view was perfect, but during Till Lindemann‘s performance, I had many very tall people right in front of me, which made it impossible to follow Till for more than a few coherent moments.

It wasn’t a problem though – I switched my eyes from band member to band member until I got a glimpse of Till again, and then repeated it over and over again. I probably watched Joe Letz for the most time of the concert, as he was almost always visible to me, no matter what the people in front of me did.

Opener:
Aesthetic Perfection once again did a great job. Noizith was in top form; she headbanged, marched and played like a woman possessed. The beach balls they threw into the audience during Summer Goth definitely survived longer than they did in Munich. For me, the microphone of Daniel Graves was a bit too quiet in comparison to the music, though.

When Till started to perform, it was instantly clear he was in a very good mood today. His voice was strong and he started doing stage antics and shenanigans right away. Unlike for Aesthetic Perfection, Till’s microphone was loud enough and in perfect balance to the music.

Band:
Kristin Kaminski again looked effortlessly cool playing her instrument, just like Joe Letz slayed on the drums like a madman. Emily Ruvidich was full of energy and smiled a whole lot while playing. Danny Lohner again took off his jacket after about 2/3 of the show was done, much to my enjoyment.

And Till… my god, Till. I thought he already was in a good mood in Munich, but in comparison to today, Munich was nothing. He was extremely playful right from the start and that didn’t change over the course of the following 90 minutes. He interacted with the audience at the front, sat down and kicked his feet like a kid, did a robot dance, sticked out his tongue, did a pouty face… he was just absolutely amazing tonight. To everyone’s enjoyment, cakes and real fish were also allowed today.

Music:
Volume-wise, music and singing harmonised very well. Till’s voice was strong and steady. Every hit to Joe’s drums went straight to the thorax.

Favorite moment:
Being able to witness a “classic” Till Lindemann show, how it is intended. After we were robbed from cakes and real fish in Munich, we got the whole nine yards today: Rain during Blut, cake during Allesfresser and the real (very smelly) fish during Fish On. The rain was noticeably stronger than in Munich – I absolutely loved it, some people next to me not so much.

I got to taste some cake since Joe tossed that thing so far back that it even reached us back in row 7/8. My friend caught a fish and waved it around in front of my face, which made the whole experience complete.

Total experience:
12 out of 10. The whole show was simply perfect. Till was so playful and giddy tonight. I left the concert drenched, caked, and with a fishy smell in the nose. I couldn’t be happier.

According to guest photographer Lorenz Fortner, Till was definitely in a good mood. Here are a few of the things he did throughout the concert:

– He laughed very often
– He joked with Krissy
– He played with the controls of Danny’s guitar
– He pushed the microphone against his head
– He ate the microphone
– He threw the microphone into the crowd, and a guy shouted in the mic
– They had very huge cakes, plus a bottle of Prosecco for Brynn. After Brynn sprayed the bottle, Till took the bottle again and threw the rest of it, seemingly having as much fun as Brynn did
– When Joe jumped onto the cake table, Till pushed it out of the stage area with Joe on it
– At the end, he said something like: “Unerwartet gut
