Miracle in Istanbul

While RammWiki was not able to get a review from the Till Lindemann concert in Istanbul, we got some information about what happened from our guest photographer Lorenz Fortner. According to him, the show was quite censored:

– There were new back projections for Golden Shower, and genitals were removed from back projection also for other songs.

– Joe Letz did not throw tampons at the crowd for this show.

The show also lacked several stage elements and effects:

– There was no Kill Till curtain.

– There were no risers on the stage.

– There was no pole.

– There was no water during Blut.

– There was no disco bubble during Platz eins, however, the “lightsabers” were back. Surrounded by them, Till danced his way through the crowd, all the way to the Front of House booth, happily interacting with people in the audience.

In general, Till seemed quite lively this show. He did mess up the lyrics a few times (for instance, he sang Ich muss mich schämen too early, and so he just went for Ich muss mich nochmal schämen).

When someone threw a pair of panties on stage, he decided to shove them into his mouth before eventually taking them out to continue singing.

The vocalist held out his microphone to a guest in the front row, and he signed a poster the person had brought with him.

All in all, it seemed like the audience in Istanbul got quite a good and memorable show despite the lacking effects, and according to Fortner, the crowd went crazy after Allesfresser.
