Huge Emotions

Alcatraz, Milan – 12 December 2025

“I started crying like a teenager at a Justin Bieber show”, our guest contributor @eugecornholio reveals in his review of the Till Lindemann show in Milan.

Entrance
I was on the guest list, so I arrived at the venue a few minutes before the doors opened. There was a long line of at least a thousand people waiting at the entrance.

A dear friend of mine had been waiting in line since 6:00 a.m. and was number 12 in line. The first couple in line has arrived at the venue around 4:45 a.m.

In the afternoon, Danny Lohner stopped by to greet people in line and take a few selfies.

Place
The venue is a big club in Milan with a capacity around 6000 people. Unfortunately, as very often happen in Italy, concerts organization heavily sucks. The result of this disorganization was that the entrance doors opened around 6:00 PM while the guest list desk opened at 6:30 PM. I entered the venue at 6:45 pm but the first 5 or 6 rows of people had already taken up all the space in front of the stage. So I went near the mixer and I saw the show from there.

Opener
This was my 12th time watching Aesthetic Perfection since 2012. I love them and they give 150% of their energy. I know that Daniel Graves was so happy to come back to Italy after 14 years and a half.

At the end of the show I stopped Michael, the AP mixer guy, to say hi to him, and he gave me the set list.

Band
4th show for me since 2020, and 4th different line up. I think this is the best line up for Till Lindemann‘s solo band. I really loved the chemistry between the band members.

Last summer I complained that I couldn’t take pictures of a member because she was “a little too confined” in her little one square foot at the side of the stage.

Music
OMG! What a show! The sound was outstanding, the new songs Und die Engel singen, Prostitution simply amazing!

Übers Meer makes me cry. I didn’t like that song when the album came out, maybe because it arrived after Altes Fleisch that is my Till Lindemann favourite song ever, but I started to love it a couple of month ago. When they started playing it live, with that flow that remind me the continuous and eternal movement of the sea, I started crying like a teenager at a Justin Bieber show! WOW how many emotion!!!

Favourite moment
During Platz eins Till walked into the crowd without the giant ball. He arrived at the mixer and he sang the chorus from that position. With his hands, first he made a thumbs up and then the heart to Olsen Involtini and the others guys that were working for the show. They were very surprised and happy for that moment, they feel appreciated for their job.

At the end of the show, I had a quick chat with Daniel from Aesthetic Perfection, Joe Letz and Will Spod (Joe’s drum tech that I didn’t see since 2019).

Total experience
Negative: The organisation sucks, the stage that was smaller than the arena show with no lasers and a limited numbers of light.

Positive: Amazing show, perfect sound, huge emotion a very nice meet and greet after the show!

Since the Milan show was held in a smaller venue, there were quite a few changes compared to the arena shows. These were some of the changes reported to us:

The big Kill Till banner was not used, and there were no lasers, but the risers were in place for the concert.

There was no water used during Blut. During Allesfresser, there was no cake, but instead, the band used Prosecco and fruit(!). Even Till Lindemann took part, he filled his mouth with Prosecco and made a little fountain, to the amusement of the crowd. There was no real fish used for Fish On either, instead, they used merch toy fish.

The big disco ball was not in Milan. Instead, the lightsabers were back, and Till walked through the crowd surrounded by them.
